Pros

The rod is really made of two a hexagonal metal rod, and ahexagonal black cover.

Very sturdy and quiet. The amount of motor noise is not bad, but not quiet, and it's got a lot of torque. The presets are a huge bonus.

There are 12 steps and i was only frustrated on steps 2 and 3. The manual lists all of the parts and the steps to put these together. Instruction picture are middle of the road clear so an experienced person can figure it out.

Cons

The desk wobbles a bit. The instruction in step 3 for the control box mounting position is just wrong (later images in the instructions show the correct installation). Also like the other reviews say, the top bows and the lift mechanism is sketchy.
