Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The motor, battery pack and connector are all gasket-sealed for water resistance. This also means that when the batteries will need to be replaced i won’t have to open the motor compartment, loosening that seal.

Techo is a much better value than the kohler touchles. There is a better conformal coating on the pcb to keep it from deteriorating. It is a bit larger than thekohler version but that’s only because the battery compartment is a separate unit.

The techno kit is a blessing and works well. This appears to be an improved version of the unit that came with the toilet. I just hope it continues working for years to come.

Cons

The techo touchless flush system is great, when it works. After 6 months of use, it stopped working after 6 months. It's not the batteries, it's the sensor.

A toilet is supposed to be a once in a lifetime investment. Since they ignore support requests it's a brick if it breaks. The description says it last for 300,000 flushes. It lasts only 5 months.
