The epg electronic program guide only shows two programs for any channel and is only shown when the channel has been viewed or selected in the epg

The default channel list was set up for alignment with astra 1 which may be because the original release of this model probably predates the move to astra 2

Dont expect too much from the support site there is little by way of useful upgrades or updated channel lists

I did send them a question regarding the epg and eventually received an answer in broken english

I needed to know if the technomate would be capable to receive italian tv rai 1 rai 2 ect and was informed that this box would be capable of doing this and more after setting up which was fairly straight forward it took minutes to familiarise myself with the onscreen instructions and then minutes for the set to scan for all channels of which there were over 1000

Delivery was quick easy to install the channels few downside is you have to delete the duplicates channel rearrange channels manually update new channels cannot view full 7 day tv guide only current and next one

Selection of favourites is easy and described well in the manual but displaying the epg with only the favourites is not described adequately in the manual and took some trial and error to achieve
