Comparing to an oem apple pencil, these pieces are very close (although there are some minor differences). No issues at all. Adapter works with the pen too.

Cons

The lightning adapter was found to not fit the gen 1 pencil. I am not sure if this is by design or it is a defect. Silver ring on open end of cap falls off which causes it not secure properly to pen.
