I found that the phone will disconnect from the magnet only if you hit a very hard bump

When my phone is sitting on the techmatte it doesnt hold my phone perfectly to it

However if the magnet was bigger overall it would help and truly hold the phone in place

Love love love i have a case and i did not stick the magnet to it just slid it in and left it as is because i did not see the point of sticking it on when i plan on purchasing a newer phone

What im impressed with is the power of these magnets i drive from one end of an island to the next and with all of the abrupt stops i have to make eye roll my phone has never flown off of its perch

The magnet is very strong and my phone sits nicely on the mount but because of the strong magnet and loose grip on the vent clip the clip will often come off of the vent completely when i grab my phone
