I rely heavily on the qi charge function so anything that permanently blocks the center rear of my phone wont do

That said if you prefer to have the mount on the windshield and never take it off the sun will dry out the suction cup and eventually crack it leading to failure

The suction surface has some kind of reusable adhesive which works great at first but that is not enough once there is no suction

The profile isnt that big either so it is not going to stand out that much when mounted on the dashboard at least not to me

The customer service was awesome when i first received this the mounting strip was probably a little defective and the holder wouldnt stay put on my dashboard although it would be completely fine when mounted on the windshield
