Its made of a good quality hard plastic the usb ports are good quality the insides are not going to break easily when as we all do put the usb lead in the wrong way at least twice before turning it around i have broke my laptop usb port doing this so take it from a women with experience in destroying usb ports these ones are fabulously made the lease lead is a good length so loads of movability its has a onoff switch with a red light so its clearly visible when its on and when its switched off this outlet is great and im sure it could be used in a multitude of placesi received this at a discounted price for my honest and unbiased feedback based on my own opinions and experience 8 outlets and 4 usb hubs makes this perfect for any power station work or home
