Pros
This one is stainless steel and has an insulated handle. While the metal is slightly thinner than i expected, it seems durable.
The look is very elegant. I like the vintage look and that it's just as useful as it is stylish. Quite happy to forgive a few minor flaws for that.
This is probably one of the nicest cookware items that i have had the opportunity to review. Since i use an induction cooktop finding cookware that is induction compatible is important. This teapot looks fantastic on my black stovetop.
It pours into a cup smoothly without splashing. The part i like is the spout. I love the holding of the handle and how easy it was to maneuver around when i had to pour each of our teacups full.
The handle remains touchable after boiling water. Can use for just water even put my teabags while boiling and works great. At 3 quarts it's actually big enough to bring water to boil for cooking too.
Cons
When used with induction it makes a terrible noise while heating up as if something inside is vibrating violently.

I normally use an electric kettle but wanted a back up that didnt require electricity

Once the water starts to boil and the steam is created the kettle will let you know its ready with a whistle

When boiling a half full kettle the whistle comes on gently and builds as the steam builds

The pour rate if fairly slow just right for a cup but not ideal if you need a lot of hot water quickly

That slow pour rate also makes it hard to empty excess water out of the kettle
