Pros

I have it installed in a decent sized bedroom and it works perfectly. This 8k unit keeps my apartment ice-cold! Unlike some air conditioners it seems to keep blowing cold air even when temp outside is lower than 68° i like this feature!

There are great holds so your fingers won't cut on the back, nice holds but also not too heavy to hold gingerly as needed. Tcl makes excellent products so i have no worries about it’s functionality in the future.

It is so compact it fits easily on my 6-8 sills. This is with thick insulating curtains, blinds, and double pained windows.

Using this method for the first time ever self-installing an ac. This appliance is phenomenally easy to do.

Cons

The grill opens and the filter lifts out. Could not enter the data in the field. Would never purchase this manufacturer again, with less than a year before self-destructing. The measures are wrong.

It is loud and makes ridiculous clacking noises. When i turn it up, the lights dim. There is no way anyone could get to sleep with this thing blaring in their room. It's soooo loud.

The box look horrible and was taped up all over, it has dents everywhere! The installation is utterly ridiculous forcing you to pull the guts out first, undo screws and control panel. Arrived damaged with huge gash in back corner and was not viewable ... Read More

The humidity in my bedroom is now 42%. It only runs a few seconds every 10 minutes to check the temperature in the room. Then, suddenly, began cooling marginally.
