These work amazingly. I wish i knew these existed sooner! Home depot has them at $3.

This item is very useful for securing loose outlets in a kitchen with a tile backsplash and recessed outlets. Recommended by electrician. I work on a lot of older projects where drywall and plaster are missing and these are fast and fantastic.

This product is pretty easy to install and does serve the purpose if your outlet is sinking into the wall. Took me only a couple of minutes to install.

Cons

The metal is very, very thin and bends very easy. They collapse if your drywall cutout is slightly greater than theory says it should be. My wall plate is not flushed at all) if the outlet is recessed then the box probably is recessed too.
