This rice cooker is the best. I have a tatung rice cooker that is old as i am. This thing ain't pretty - color choices in taiwan were limited to seafoam green and 1970's * orange - but man, is it functional!

For 3 generations in my family we use tatung and it never disappoints! The cook time is fast, without fuss and the result is great rice, never sticky.
Cons
Current-generation tatung indirect heating rice cookers are mediocre. The black knob on lid is a problem. This is the shortest living rice cooker i have ever bought.

This one is made of very thin metal and when you cook with this one the lid rattles the entire time the steam comes out
