Essentially water proof with soft oring seals but not a dive light i left it running for an hour at the bottom of a 4foot deep pool and it is still ticking

There is no explanation as to how that is accomplished i thought from the card that the rear of the flashlight twisted but mine did not do that

Not until i read these reviews did i learn it changes modes as you click the orange button at the end of the light
