Brought this to replace the first one i had that lasted a year before being accidentally broken from hitting the wall

This one came with a rubber ring which the first one that i brought from a different place didn’t switch works as a pulls witch does but the rubber ring is pointless as it doesn’t stay and easily comes off when you pull to turn the light off on
