Pros

The key is to lay them flat to freeze. One industrious person designed a refrigerator/freezer with a thin freezer pack similar to this one that slides in underneath the whole freezer section.

Ice packs work great in my igloo 45 quart coolers! Fit perfectly into the iced frozen bags the i purchased. I use them in a 60 can capacity soft sided cooler with an added ~1 liter block of ice in a ziploc.

Cons

Do not waste your money on this defective, overpriced junk. They know that these break when frozen vertically but they only disclose that to the purchaser after buying.

These are perfect as i can put them in or under their hidey box

These are larger than expected but more useful than the smaller ones

I was hoping it would last for 8hrs but i was impressed when it lasted a full 10hrs
