I have noticed that when we use this on our ikea chalkboard the sort that is just a painted chalkboard not a slate chalkboard it does leave a residue with the white and blue markers

It is easy to remove with a magical eraser but im not sure that that would be a longterm solution

We keep chalkboard stands outside both businesses in order to deliver messages to passers by and hopefully get them to come in

I realized however when i read the small instructions on the markers that you have to hole the markers tip up and press the tip into the marker a few times to release the pressure and start the flow
