New model has more features like weighing to the 10th of a pound. Seems accurate. I wish the design provided a flat surface to step on and off when weighing yourself. This one weighs me accurately.

Data from hydrostatic testing and 3 different bioelectrical impedance devices show 16-18%. Maybe that's normal.

Poor quality in either amazon shipping or tanita packaging. The instruction manual is also little help. The scale beeps when you turn it on, beep when it's ready for you to stand.
