For those who do not know bioimpedance is highly inaccurate and has low repeatability despite what the manufacturer says

Much better is the adipometer which is not influenced by as many error factors as bioimpedance

But adipometer takes a bit to get the hang of it and its a bore to use

I thought the bc558 would be better by having hand electrodes but it has the same problems although it is a bit more able to give values close to the adipometer

If you do not create a correction factor for hydration you can not compare two readings taken with different hydrations

The data pairs are h2o fat65789 634113 631115 627119 620128 66086 641105 66282that is you can not know if you are gaining fat or losing fat with a bioimpedance scale unless the two data have been obtained with the exactly 02 same hydration value
