Awful once u connect once it loses wifi and then is impossible to reconnect poor instructions and generally rubbish

The wifi is handy for close distance surveillance so you dont need to sign up and setup wifi for viewing online wouldnt trust it anyway but might try it

Wouldnt use this as a on person surveillance camera unless you know youll only need it for a few hours the battery will die quite fast

You could use it as a hidden camera to watch over your house for the cheap but there are better cameras out there for the same price
