You either have to reach around and feel for the port or stand up and look behind the computer to plug in a thumb drive etc

And once you wear one out youll never get it replaced as thats expensive so you wind up living with one less port on the computer

Plug them in and leave them then you have your port extension right in front of you for thumb drives portable hard drives camera cables etc and not only is it handier but you eliminate wear on the computers own port
