Pros

Gm, but at $899 there is nothing close that matches this tamron 17-28 f/2.

The sharpness is on point. It's perfectly capable of doing what's on the tin. I love the feel of the lens, even love the lettering on the lens!

Cons

Competitiveness

I have paired this lens with my sony a7riii and it is wonderful for the price

Auto focusit performs great on my a7iii almost like any lens made directly by sony

Probably not as robust as the sony competition but i have no definitive evidence that this is the case

I used to have a tokina 1116 that i loved but ever since going full frame ive needed a new wide angle lens

Also there’s no stabilization on this lens so the video footage is very shaky even on a gimbal
