Pearl absorbs more than other tampons in the equivalent category. They're great, small and discreet. Perfect for travelling or to carry in your purse.
Cons
A quieter, more inconspicuous applicator isn't worth trading in comfort or functionality. They collapse into themselves when being used causing placement to be uncomfortable. They're too short when fully expanded and quickly leak.
