Tamiya nippers are a little pricey. They are basically the highest-end ones that still use a two-blade design. These nippers slice through gates like butter, leaving little-to-no stress marks.
Free shipping all the way from japan is definitely worth the wait. Kudos to tamiya for covering the expense on their part. Fast shipping.

Don’t cut too close to the pieces from the runners otherwise you will get a little white stress mark on the piece

They do not snap shut when passing through so they will not dull themselves resulting in a short lifespan
