Pros
It appears theyve updated the contain a bit, with new text/graphics etc. This is fabulous. Will buy it again.
Cons
This paste is very different from thai tamarind paste and yields a very different result. This product tastes like molasses, it doesn't taste like tamarind, and it has the consistency of petroleum, it's disgusting.

Tamarind by nature has very tangy flavor and this product lacks some of that tang and a bait pricey
