There is no pocket in this frame for your door to slide into it will only close flush against it

Because of this you will lose the seal of the existing frame that the door slides into and you will not be able to use the lock on the door which engages with the existing frame

I purchased and installed a hinged bar which closes against the door to lock it and i added weatherstripping to try to provide as much of a seal as i could but its not perfect
