I traveled 25 countries making daily videos and used the same takstar tripod and light and all of them preformed flawlessly
I have an iphone so again make sure for the iphone you buy a trrs jack adapter and have the little dingle that came with your iphone

The top coating of the coiled cord on one of them has shed but there’s another layer of insulation and the cord doesn’t coil so well anymore see attached photo of mic from 2015

We had another camera on a tripod getting a different view and it did not have a mic attached to it

Couldnt use any of the voice on it due to the wind sound it picked up

My few flaws with it is the static noise it makes and the fact that it can be really hard to unscrew it from things at times
