This seems a bit pricey, but like all sure fire goods, the quality and machining are top notch. Without a doubt surefire is the finest in design and quality. This tailcap follows that credo perfectly.

No dialing in the sweet spot with the twist cap

This model z68 clickon tailcap is exactly what i wanted

Packaging/appearance

Not only is the tail stand feature great but with added shroud around the clicky switch you dont have to worry about accidental activations

I wasnt careful cleaning my e2d surefire and lost the springs inside the tailcap

Competitiveness

I used it to replace the one that came with e2d led defender

As anticipated the z68 works with all eseries surefire lights with a clicky tailcap

It is not intended for a clicky style tail cap

If you’d like tailstand capability or a more comfortable cigar style grip for your e1bmv legacy eseries lights etc
