Pros & Cons
Pros
I find the polynesian beans to be the best due to their curing process and are simply marvelous for making vanilla extract, ice cream, etc. They're packaged securely so no worries about shriveling up.
Wonderful product. Reasonably priced. Top quality, no doubt. I definitely recommend it.
Highlights
Quality
My customers were in love with the smell as well
I am using it to make vanilla extract with the addition of vodka
Price
Soft fragrant good price especially considering the recent surge in vanilla prices
Packaging/appearance
You can smell them through the packaging and they infuse wonderfully into products
But the color of the beans and the packaging was great and i would buy from slofoodgroup again
Competitiveness
Im using it in my awardwinning baked goods to set them apart from the competition
I ordered the grade a tahitian beans from french polynesia and they arrived sealed nicely in a vacumn package
I understand why vanilla beans are pricey but i still wish they were alittle cheaper

It will be easily another month before being able to taste the differences for a true comparison

Ratio in general has been 2 oz vodka to 1 bean on all my other batches and the pure tahitian is still a bit lighter so added the extra beans to up the flavor just a bit more given that this particular bean is light and flowery in taste
