Pros
It's very durable and will last you several years without any problems. Used this for an astronomy class. Still came in handy during breaks etc.
Will order some lithium rechargeable batteries for it.
Cons
They get some splashing, but never submerged. The problem is it doesn't have unappropriate low voltage cutoff for lithium batteries. It discharges them to 2.
