Pros
Fit my mossberg maverick 88 perfectly. Fits a 12 ga mossberg maverick 88 field/security. Built in peep through for the bead sight.
Shell holder loops are secure, but not at all too tight as some other reviews have mentioned. Securely holds shells, they are hard to remove. Mostly impressed by the fit of the side saddle.
Simple, straightforward, quick and durable. Feels really solid & lightweight. Installation is easy, but it's a shotgun not a rolls-royce.
It fits better than i would've guessed. It fit over the receiver like a glove. After a few hundred rounds everything is still firm and secured.
Follow up review. Very impressed. Very happy to purchase this item.
Cons
No play in the mount, no wiggle or jiggle or any sort of funny business. The bolt in this device is super cheap and weak. Doesn’t fit mossberg 500 wood pumps.
I am disappointed in the quality and durability. Not impressed. Shop around. Totally useless.

They asked which version i ordered took my name address and a few days later i had the correct screw to mount the rail properly

It fits better than i wouldve guessed
Comparing this side saddle to the stand alone side saddle they sell this was much better
I can see that some other mossberg 500s have a different smaller foregrip that seems to function with this part

This was my first shotgun mod so i struggled putting it on a little but even a noob like me figured it out if you’re familiar with your chamber assembly this will be a cakewalk for you works perfectly but after a couple of weeks having it the shells don’t stay in as tightly as when it’s brand new either than that it’s perfect

The frame itself is good quality metal but the part that holds in the shells is like a polymer plastic and i don’t like that

Finally arriving at the time of this review i opened the package which showed signs of being handled rough probably since it came via usps but not faulting anyone at all pulled what i could it of the box while all the small stuff fell out in their own
