I havent had any such problems with this product

Was not expecting the jaws to be plastic other than that easy to use basic tool for a good price
Recommend these if you dont need topoftheline professional accuracy for the price theyre quite good
Its not a mitutoyo but for the price i wouldnt expect it to be
Packaging/appearance
This one is plastic and the digital scale sometimes will not stablize on a measurement it bounces up and down on the reading
Competitiveness
I like that it accepts a cr2032 battery as they are modest to purchase and i generally have some available
Didnt want to spend a crazy amount of money on highend brandname calipers as i dont do precision machining or anything like that
If possible i will use this cheap solution to measure in the future to reduce the cost of use

There is a gap between the measurement ruler and its metal casing they are not align to each other
