The tablo engine android app that is required to control this tuner via the nvidia shield is the biggest piece of crap software that ive ever used

There are so many problems with it first i had to uninstall and then reinstall the app to even get it to open second the guide data takes much too long to download third there is frequent and highly noticeable buffering of the feed from the antenna fourth the app runs very poorly and is sluggish on the shield it also frequently crashes requiring a forced restart

Bottom line the software is unusable rendering this piece of hardware useless given that no other apps are available which work with this particular tuner

I tried to record a nhl hockey game then watch the game from the beginning of the recording while the remainder of the game was recorded
