Pros
I use my ipad so much that a stand is imperative to overcome back muscle issue. I'm in bed many days, and this saves my hands when i'm using my ipad.
The legs are sturdy and flexible enough to easily manipulate to any configuration you need. The product itself is sturdy & quite variable. It’s easy to adjust and folds up nicely.

I just straddle it over the nightstand, and it looks fine! It is heavy and has an iron core. This is great, flexible or sturdy.
Cons
The legs are so weak they are actually floppy. The elastic cord is too long. Also the ipad falls out some times as the lower groves that it fits into is not deep enough.

I used to have a lap desk but that didnt hold my tablet well enough for me to read laying back in my recliner

In the pictures on amazon it looks like you have to prop your head up until its almost vertical and this is not true

You can put a cell phone in it too but not with a case on it
