Pros

It isn't made from thin glass; it's thick and sturdy. The glass is nice, but the lid and metal part could be a tad more substantial. No problems * on pour lid with a a little patience.

Jadeite kitchenware. Looks great and holds plenty of sugar packets. I hope it's the one i dig out of the drawer 40 years from now to make lemonade.

Cons

It looks like the glass was handled before it cooled and was slightly bent or dented while still malleable. Without a spout that actually opens and closes, it is useless. The top edge was chipped.
