Top read speed was 68x depending on the size of the file

My new laptop does not come with a cddvd drive as it is seen as one of those sacrifices made to reduce the size of the laptop

No issues with performance and has the same mechanism you would normally see built into the laptop that is there is no motor for the disk tray it pops open and then you push it shut
