It really does the job it fits perfectly on my mc powerbook g4 the lights lit when the it is charging and it holds the charge very well my only con is that i ordered in silver as the description clearly says and i got a white one really not a big deal since it is a very old machine but now it looks kind of patch all the rest works like a charm bought two of these
The battery should look perfect on a compatible ibook though
Battery seems to be working as expected my 12 powerbook g4 reporting a 3 hour run time on battery have not tried cycling it yet as i havent needed to
Had the description noted that it was white i would have given it 5 stars as functionally its fine shipping was fast and the price was great my son gave me an apple macbook g4
