Pros & Cons

Pros

I'm a size 11 (which isn't too large) and am hoping i can get larger toe straps sent to me.

Bought this for my son as a beginner snowboarder. Been snowboarding for 3 years so far. Did every single trail over the course of 2 days at mammoth mountain.

Definitely a step up from rentals. This board really glows powder, groomers, flex, and pop. Usually he rents or borrows from a friend but this was a great price.

Great value and includes most everything needed together. Thanks to enough pictures on internet of x1. Will update later. Thank you, thank you.

The video below does a good job depicting what needs to be done. There is a little issue with strapping the upper binding but it did not affect the riding. The board, boots, and bindings all work together seamlessly.

Cons

This is not a durable brand but is cheap if you need something without wanting to spend much. The boot sizing is off. Once separated it fills up with snow and is ruined.

The boots did not come in half sizes so we bought it slightly bigger

The board does not come detuned meaning all the edges around the board are sharp

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

To get the board ready for snow the edges on the tiptail must be filed off to make them dull

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Otherwise you risk the possibility of your tiptail catching on to something if you were to lose your balance for example

I ended up going to a ski shop to ask how to exactly detune the board

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I suggest you do the same as a beginner

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

However after a couple of runs one of the release mechanism lever that you pull to release the strap extensions broke which made it harder to release my foot after a run but it still works
