When creating my first initial storage pool i was informed right off the bat that these drives were not on synologys recommendation list of storage drives for raid use

Further research backed this up wd blue drives are intended for common use desktop pcs not long term high use storage arrays

The unit is a small compact device that does not take up much room on my desktop
