Great product works like it should and as described
There are so many options i havent tried yet but im happy with the basic setup i have
Also there is 50 apps you can download and install with the click of a button really opening up what you can do with this nas
I will only buy synology as long as the quality remains

I called one he said it would cost 140 for one hour of remote access
Packaging/appearance
I literally backed up my files from my drobo pulled the drives from my drobo and put them into the synology and turned the power on
Also have my home 418play integrated into 4 security cameras that store a month of video on the synology
Competitiveness
Its my first time buying a synology and i am so pleased with this compared to other brands
After about a month of research and speaking with my colleagues i found that synology nas boxes were highly recommended
I purchased a qnap nas and found it frustratingly difficult to set up simple apps for photo backup video file streaming etc
Original i have used other synology products before and this model is just frustrating

I called the washington state phone number and setup a time for a remote session

It turned out not to be a remote session although i downloaded a program for remote access my pc was not taken over by the tech

Instead of helping me he said their policy was not to help customers in the use of their dsm diskstation operating system

I then spoke to the supervisor he told me where to find the resellers on their website and that they could help
