Pros
The sylvania focuses the light pretty well. We have a dining rooom light chandelier with a spot down light that is at least 50 years old. This one is perfect and it is very reasonable.
Cons
Lenses can drop and melt polypro carpet. I am beyond thinking this is just a fluke and have decided there is something in this design that is wrong. I know the technical specs were correct. Not acceptable at all.

In the picture included with this review the grotty upper bulb is the thing being replaced and the lower bulb is what arrived

I’m sure the bulbs are the same wattage etc but this picture is deceiving— the bulbs i received do not look like this picture

Sadly the lower bulb is just a tiny bit wider and does not fit in my hood bluestar

A lot of bulbs that are listed as narrow spots arent actually that narrow

In my case i needed a light that would highlight art that is about 12 feet away from the light fixture
