Pros

Two-port serial card works perfectly with old fanuc cnc controllers equipment. Offers utility that cannot be found in the so-called usb-to-rs232 adapters, most of which only partially support the rs232 interface.

You need to go to the sybausa site and do a search for sd-pex50030 click on the download page. Installed this pci-express card in 5 minutes and then downloaded software. Works great in win7 and in centos6. Easy to configure/test locally at ubuntu usin... Read More

Pci-e card works after a bit of wriggling. No restrictions on configuring my router. Easy to install and set-up.

Cons

The usb to rs-232 cable with prolific chip works much better than this. Manufacture is not best connectivity, but syba. Never had a chance to test the serial ports.
