Pros

A nice sheath should be purchased at some point. The sheath (a sore point for lots of guys), has been improved somewhat. It's still nylon, but the velcro straps now have *. Offering an upgraded sheath would be nice.

Great knife, great knife, no complaints. This blades a beast.

The design allows for chopping, carving, stabbing, skinning and notching wood. It’s heavy enough for chopping and maneuverable enough for shaping. I have mot used the saw function on the top spine of the blade.

Great fit and finish, attention to detail, high polish hand-finished blade. It's a stout piece and all usa made. The steel is treated well and holds as nice edge. It passes wonderfully.

Wow, was my first impression. This guy does a great video demonstration. It is great. The sxb is one of the best blades tools that i own.

Cons

This knife has a very flawed handle. The screws used by tops stick out of the handle.

It’s a tops knife which i believe is a representation of you get what you pay for

150 dollars cheaper then at the tops knives website

The price is a little steep but i still think it is worth it for what you’re getting

The blade itself is hair popping sharp out of the packaging no surprise there

The draw knife edge is also large enough to be truly helpful as compared to that of the sxs sidekick or even the tracker

And so a few days ago i finally found a seller on ebay who was selling a brand new sxb skullcrusher knife for a very good price

Snyder and other wskstyle knife makers you’d think there’d be more videos demonstrating the virtues of wilderness survivalstyle knives
