Pros

It snaps in place of the gopro batteries and gives the camera constant power. I have it bundled on the tripod that both are connected to. Wish they made a lockable battery replacement like this for the newer gopro models.

I use my gopro for a dash cam and this is perfect for daily commutes. Fits perfectly and is certainly better than trying to run the camera continuously off the battery while a charger bakes it.

Device fits into the battery compartment and plugs into a usb port. This goes in and replaces the battery. Works without issue with the skeleton case on.

Cons

For moto commuters this is not reliable enough. At this price it's a disposable item but you would expect it to work more than once. Not warm, but so hot to the touch that i can't keep my fingers on it - that's too hot imo.

With the standard batteries i was only getting a little over an hour of recording

Exellent battery eliminatorpurchaded with a 10000mah battery bank and i havent have to charge it yet not even 1 week after

I have it plugged into a 24w car charger adapter and its more than enough juice to keep this sucker on

I would have been ok with 1ft of cable
