Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a very easy to use and clean mandolin. It slices, it dices, it makes julienne fries. It's not intuitive and i'm still learning.
No problem putting in the 'dicing' blades, the thickness adjustor is an issue for this as well. It has 2 blade inserts and 1 plain insert. Comes with a storage cone for the extra blades.
The only downside is the new sticker price. It is fantastic and i highly recommend it!
The handguard is amazing. It protects your hand. Clean up is amazingly easy. Each update adds safety features.
Cons
It's not so easy to change the thickness. It's definitely not intuitive. Feels light and cheap. It’s very bulky and not what i expect.
The normal v blades are micro-serrated, rather than truly sharp. As i pushed the parsnip over the blades, the insert kept dropping down.
