Pros
Swiss_tech now offers a variety of these tools, with different combinations of capabilities. The functions of the xl7 include the ones you really need and some that are handy. I am reasonably confident it will work.
The tread depth gauge is a simple 3 color strip - green, yellow and red - on a removable key ring stick. This same nifty feature also means that you can easily detach the tool when you don't mean to and lose it.
Led flashlight that can switch to a red *. Sonic alarm that will really clear your sinus. It uses 3 lr44 batteries.
Cons
The tire tread/key ring holder is a poor design. The sonic alarm can be set-off accidentally and frequently in your pocket. It's way too large to actually be attached to someone's keychain. I suppose it's possible that swiss+tech intends people to put... Read More

If you plan to store it in the car i would remove the batteries and place them a separate bag so they dont die put them in backwards or keep the plastic tab that prevents them from connecting

It has a spring punch a seatbelt cutter flash lightsolid white and red flashing and on command releases this incredibly annoying sound
