Pros & Cons

Pros

The swiss diamond frying pan is a very well made frying pan. It is heavy, but when i used it for an omelet it was great. The glass lids are great for cooking eggs because you can see when they set without having to peak in and release steam.

Using nothing but a soapy sponge, it cleans up so that it looks like new again. It cleans in seconds. I also love that they don't use riveted handles, which makes cleaning so much easier.

Cons

It works fine for about two years and then the non stick coating started flaking off. After one month of use, the pan start to see scratches. It retains the smell of the washing detergent too. It is impossible to clean the stainless steel handle.

I am surprised that swiss diamond releases defective pans for sale, to anyone!

I feel their warranty process is incredibly disingenuine.

It's hyped up with cool-sounding technology jargon like nano-composite. It is the last teflon-like pan we will buy and we are looking at better alternatives.

Quality

The service was excellent and the quality was exactly as described

If there is build up it is easy to remove and it doesn’t affect the quality or function

For a pan that is advertised specifically with how easy it is to fry an egg i am not impressed

I have had very good luck with the swiss diamond skillets and the 12

Price

Price is a little too high though

Packaging/appearance

That means i cant hang up these pans by the no longer existent hole in the handle

I am ferrous because the pan was shipped in no other packaging but the original box that has a picture of it on the box

I used it all the time for eggs and wore off the coating

Competitiveness

While my pretty red and white bialetti frying pan completely lost its nonstick abilities after a couple of years
