My one main criticism is that there is no way to securely attach the base to the lamp it just sits in it

Which is a pain as i move it around a fair bit so i constantly have to awkwardly pick up the base etc i would prefer there to be a way to lock it in but for most people this wont be a problem as they will just be leaving it in one place
