Pros
Easy to install, no leaking or dripping, water taste is fine. Like the idea of envoirmentally friendly on disposal. Kids use the water dispenser everyday, all day.
Kenmore replacement filter for my lg refrigerator. I live in an area with high cal concentration and my fridge had to be constantly decal. Fits my kenmore elite which required 46 9990 filters.
Cons
They're also supposed to filter chloramine. They leave an awful taste in the water, to me, taste like chlorine. The filter continues to leak even after reinserting it. Abundance of chlorine taste.
The end that inserts into the inlet is configured differently from the original. It does not fit. The filter installs easily but is not a good fit.

Before ordering please make sure you double check the model number of your fridge to make sure this filter is compatible

The box says to replace every 6 to 8 months so thats what i try to do

The dummy light on my fridge has never come on to let me know to replace it and thats probably cause we dont use that water as often as we should
