Pros

Gutr works well if you follow the directions and keep it just above your eyebrows. Nice side effect is it kept my sunglasses (which are really prescription eyeglasses) totally clear. One trick i have learned is to combine them with a tilley hat for me...  Read More

In humid florida bike riding you sweat a lot and it doesnt evaporate. When it's august in phoenix, arizona, the temp and humidity are ungodly.

The gutr is amazing! This thing is phenomenal. The new improved model with the new hooking mechanism is better than the older one. The sweatband is simply awesome.

Intuitively it seems like this item would work, more so when you feel the high quality silicon rubber. Secondly, it works great!

Cons

It's possible that the sweat was wicking through the helmet pads, then dripping directly from there, bypassing the gutr completely. Get a head band, not this. I just ordered a cooling helmet liner in the hope it'll do even a marginally better job then...  Read More

I normally get sweat blinded the moment i step outside and move at all

Instead with this band it is collected and diverted to the sides of the head

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I could use a band that is a little bigger and potential buyers should be aware that safety glasses or other eyewear can still redirect sweat back to the corner of the eyes

But my closet it full of intuitive items that dont work so i was anxious to try this out

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It feels a bit odd at first maybe a bit tight and you have to wear it low around the eyebrows i assume for maximum catch

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

But its like the pains of warmup unnoticeable before you know it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Normally i wipe my forehead every 10 steps by that point in a vain attempt to save my eyes i didnt do it one single time

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

But a it didnt work and b that puts hot fabric over my forehead which takes away an important heat radiator
