Pros & Cons
Pros
Great replacement for clear metamusil. Pricey though. A very satisfied customer. Very pleased with this inulin.
Inulin is a resistant starch, which is essential to gut health. Swanson's inuin is made from chicory root. The product uses inulin as an ingredient.
Some complain that it makes them fart a lot. It really works for regularity. This is the first one that i can tolerate.
Powder almost completely dissolves in my coffee (if stirred well), and even adds a hint of sweetness. I dissolve it into a few ounces of warm water, the add some apple juice to it. Dissolves in hot coffee easily.
Negligible taste--slightly sweetish--and dissolves well in liquids.
Cons
The swanson inulin is very sticky and clumps when i try to mix it. Chicory is not for everyone. The product listing says a single serving has five grams of dietary fiber.
Highlights
Quality
High quality product and will recommend to everyone
This is the best fiber supplement ive found
If you attempt to mix this into any thin liquid like juice or water it clumps like mad and sticks to the bottom of the glass

Shipping
The ordering and delivery of swansons inulin is easy and fast
I saved time and money by ordering the four pack
This is the second time weve ordered this product from swanson each time they delivered before the expected date
I trust swanson to delivery a good and reliable product
Packaging/appearance
I like that it came in a container with a scoop instead of just a bag
However i was a little disappointed it didnt come with a freshness packet or scoop to make it easier and faster to mix
I liked the fact it came in four different small containers so you can only open one at a time instead of one huge container
Competitiveness
I have tried so many other products that have other active ingredients
Other brands that say inulin when i read the fine print its sourced from agave
I suppose the only difference is that this brand comes from chicory while the kos brand is derived from agave
I do get some cramping but its very mild compared to past products and once i go the cramping stops instantly
