Pros
It makes good coffee but you have to get the grinding correctly fine. Foe best results it's better to buy ready ground espresso coffee. With a decent grinder and a better portafilter basket and it really comes into its own.

When we first got this machine we were a bit disappointed as even after a few rinses and test runs the coffee tasted very strongly of chemicals

Wouldnt recommend it for espresso though definitely better for pulling a shot for a cappuccino flat white latte etc etc
